Terms of Use

Please read these terms carefully before using CODIR. By accessing the platform, you agree to be bound by these terms in their entirety.

Important warning

CODIR is an independent data visualization tool, intended exclusively for entertainment, parody or design-testing purposes. The user is solely responsible for the use of the generated visuals. Any use for deceptive, fraudulent or misleading marketing purposes is strictly prohibited and is the sole responsibility of the user.

1. About CODIR

CODIR is an independent data visualization tool that lets its users generate visual representations of dashboards for personal, educational or internal professional purposes.

CODIR is intended exclusively for entertainment, parody or design-testing purposes. The platform is not designed to produce authentic financial, accounting or commercial data.

CODIR does not collect, process or validate any real financial data. The visuals produced by the platform are graphic representations configured entirely by the user. They do not under any circumstances constitute official statements, reports or certificates.

2. Acceptance of the terms

Accessing and using CODIR implies full acceptance of these Terms of Use. If you do not accept these terms, you must stop using the platform immediately.

These Terms may be modified at any time. Users will be informed of any substantial change. Continued use of CODIR after a modification constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

3. Sole responsibility of the user

The user is solely and fully responsible for the use of visuals generated with CODIR. By using the platform, the user acknowledges and accepts that:

CODIR is a graphic visualization tool with no evidentiary, legal or financial value;
the dashboards generated are fictitious or simulated visual representations, configured at the user's discretion;
CODIR disclaims all liability regarding the interpretation, distribution, sharing or use of the visuals produced by the platform.

The user agrees to use CODIR lawfully, ethically and in compliance with the laws and regulations applicable in their country of residence.

4. Prohibited uses

It is strictly forbidden to use CODIR, its visuals or any representation generated through the platform for the following purposes:

Deceiving, misleading or manipulating third parties (prospects, customers, partners, investors, etc.) by presenting the visuals as real, authentic or certified data;
Selling or marketing dashboards generated with CODIR by fraudulently presenting them as proof of results, performance or income;
Using the visuals in online courses, publications, advertisements or any other marketing content intended to mislead an audience about commercial or financial results;
Designing, distributing or taking part in any form of fraud, scam or unfair commercial practice using visuals produced by CODIR;
Circumventing these Terms by any means, direct or indirect.

CODIR reserves the right to suspend or terminate access for any user whose use is deemed contrary to these terms.

5. Explicit warning about deceptive marketing

CODIR firmly opposes any use of its tools for deceptive marketing purposes.

By way of non-exhaustive example, the following is expressly prohibited:

Presenting a CODIR dashboard as proof of revenue or income generated through the sale of a course, coaching or service;
Publishing screenshots of CODIR dashboards on social networks, advertising platforms or websites to attest to fictitious performance;
Using CODIR visuals to convince third parties to invest money, subscribe to an offer or join a program.

CODIR fully dissociates itself from any unethical use and reserves the right to report any clearly fraudulent use brought to its attention to the competent authorities.

6. No warranty

CODIR is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. The platform does not guarantee:

The accuracy, completeness or relevance of the visuals generated;
The continuous or uninterrupted availability of the service;
The suitability of the platform for any particular need of the user.

Under no circumstances shall CODIR, its founders, partners or providers be held liable for any direct or indirect damage resulting from the use of, or inability to use, the platform.

7. Intellectual property

The CODIR platform, its interface, code and content are the exclusive property of CODIR and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Visuals generated by the user with CODIR belong to the user. However, the user grants CODIR a non-exclusive, free right of use for the purposes of improving the service and producing anonymized statistics.

The user may under no circumstances claim any rights over the platform itself, its algorithms or its components.

8. Personal data protection

CODIR only collects the data strictly necessary for the service to work (email address, dashboard configuration data). This data is neither sold nor shared with third parties for commercial purposes.

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the user has the right to access, rectify and delete their personal data. To exercise these rights, the user can contact CODIR using the contact details available on the platform.

9. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute regarding the interpretation or performance of these terms, the parties will endeavor to find an amicable solution.

Failing an amicable agreement, any dispute will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts where CODIR's registered office is located.

10. Affiliate program

CODIR offers an affiliate program allowing certain users (hereinafter "Affiliates") to earn a commission on subscriptions purchased through their personal referral link or code.

Eligibility and acceptance:

Joining the program is subject to an application and prior approval by CODIR.
Any application may be refused without justification by CODIR.
The Affiliate must have an active account on the platform.

How the program works:

Each accepted Affiliate receives a unique referral code and link.
When a user subscribes to CODIR through this link or code, the Affiliate earns a commission equal to 30% of the subscription amount excluding taxes.
Commissions are credited to the Affiliate account after the payment is validated by Stripe.
A commission is only considered earned if the subscriber's payment is confirmed and not refunded.

Payout conditions:

The minimum withdrawal threshold is €70 (seventy euros).
Transfer requests are made by the Affiliate from their dedicated area by providing a valid IBAN.
A 2% processing fee is deducted from each transfer at the time of payment. The net amount received by the Affiliate is therefore the gross amount requested minus 2%.
CODIR undertakes to process transfer requests within a reasonable time, without any contractual deadline.

Affiliate obligations:

The Affiliate agrees to promote CODIR honestly, transparently and in compliance with these Terms and applicable laws and regulations, particularly regarding advertising and commercial practices.
The Affiliate is strictly forbidden from self-referring, creating fake accounts or generating fraudulent commissions by any means.
The Affiliate agrees to clearly disclose their affiliate status in any promotional communication (posts, videos, sponsored content, etc.), in accordance with legal obligations regarding disguised advertising.
Any false, misleading or unethical promotion will result in immediate termination of Affiliate status and removal of unpaid commissions.

Termination of Affiliate status:

CODIR reserves the right to end Affiliate status at any time, without notice, in the event of a breach of these terms.
In the event of termination, commissions already validated and reaching the withdrawal threshold remain due to the Affiliate.
Commissions from cancelled or refunded transactions will be deducted from the available balance.

Taxes:

Commissions earned through the affiliate program are taxable income. The Affiliate is solely responsible for declaring and paying any tax or social contribution applicable to this income in their country of residence. CODIR does not withhold any tax at source.
